She Leads: from programme to movement

She Leads transitioned from a funded programme into a broader movement led by the girls and young women who shaped it.

As the She Leads programme has reached it’s conclusion, the consortium partners Plan International, FEMNET, Defence for Children and Terre des Hommes are proud to recognise the powerful movement that has emerged from this initiative.

She Leads began as a funded programme, but it has grown into something much bigger: a vibrant, youth-led movement driven by the girls and young women who continue to stand up for their rights and lead change within their communities.

Movement

In honour of this evolution, the consortium partners formally and wholeheartedly pass on the She Leads name to those to whom it rightfully belongs. From this moment onward, “She Leads” will be carried forward by the young activists, organisations and grassroots groups who embody and advance its mission. The consortium partners, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its role as strategic partner, no longer formally endorse or fund activities implemented under the She Leads name.

Via this platform, we are honoured to share the She Leads logo and branding with all who are dedicated to advancing and sustaining the She Leads movement. By right‑clicking, users are able to download and utilize logo assets, a range of illustrations, and document templates.

Appreciation

We extend our deepest appreciation to all girls and young women who have led, inspired and transformed their communities throughout the programme’s lifetime. Their leadership has made She Leads a success and it is their continued work that will carry the movement into the future.
